Airbrush Course

Ø       An airbrush is a versatile tool that uses a controlled amount of air from a compressor to be able to paint on any surface.

Ø       It can be used for a number of things including photographic portraits, illustration, murals, customized motorbikes, helmets and cars.

Ø       This course is available to anyone who would like to learn the secrets of this classic tool, whether you’re a beginner with no previous experience in airbrushing or a more advanced student that wishes to learn more skills and techniques.

Ø       The Studio is situated in the countryside where you can learn in a fun and relaxing environment.

Our new classroom for the airbrush and pinstriping courses has full spectrum lamps with near perfect colour rendering index which are ideal for use in design and where excellent light quality and supreme colour rendering are paramount. Also emitting a tiny amount of UV light, these lamps are the closest available alternative to natural daylight.

 JANUARY

28th & 29th - POPULAR EFFECTS AIRBRUSH COURSE                  

2 complete days where you will learn all the basic skills and techniques needed to enter the world of airbrushing. You will be given step-by-step guidance to create various projects such as true fire, skulls and landscape.

FEBRUARY

11th & 12th - PINSTRIPING COURSE                                                         

In this 2 day course you will learn about the history of Pinstriping, the right tools for the job, brush care and maintenance, surface preparation, paints, thinners, palleting and safety, the key strokes, pulling a straight line, the magic of tape, symmetry and marking out, Q & A.

23th, 24th, 25th & 26th - AIRBRUSH PORTRAIT                                       

4 complete days where you will be shown how to create portraits, step-by-step, in a quick and easy way, including an introduction to the airbrush, explanation on colour theory, mixing skin tones, interpretation of facial characteristics, rendering of hair and skin textures Project review, questions & certificates.

16th, 17th & 18th - AIRBRUSHING A HELMET                                          

Learn the top professional secrets during this hands-on three day class including preparation, masking, creating designs that command attention, when to use airbrush / mini-gun / full-size gun, using fineline tapes, how to price and cost your work, starting up a business, free and easy ways to advertise and market

APRIL

7th & 8th - AIRBRUSHING T-SHIRTS                                                  

This 2 day course will introduce you to the art of airbrushing on T-shirts and textile. We will show you what materials to use, colour mixing, stencils, freehand airbrushing, how to transfer you design, technique for setting the paint to make it washable.

28th & 29th - SPECIAL EFFECT CUSTOM PAINTING

This very hands on class is designed to explore different tools and materials used in custom paintwork, the basic system approach to custom paintwork with a strong emphasis on the planning and execution of custom design layout. The exercises will include techniques such as Marblizing, fading, blending colour. primers, Shimrin base colors, Kosmic Kandy colors, Flakes, Pearls, Clearcoats, and more.
